The First State Community Loan Fund
The First State Community Loan Fund (FSCLF) is a not-for-profit Community Development Financial
Institution (CDFI) that specializes in supporting small businesses, micro-enterprises in the state
of Delaware. The Business Growth Fund provides loans and borrower support for business owners,
loans typically ranging from $15,001 to $50,000 to be repaid with interest over a 1-5 year period,
depending on the nature of the loan. The Capital Works(tm) Microloans provides lending from $300 to
$15,000 to be repaid with interest over a 4 month to 3 year period. Loan criteria vary by size and
type of loan to simplify application process for microloans.
